IF: CLIQUE

This weeks Illustration Friday topic is "clique" and of course my first thought was of the old-school(no pun intended) cliques from highschool and of the common social structures that will form in any and every environment. So, as I starting thinking about which cliques I belong to now, it was really clear which "clique" was by far the most important...my little family! Now, I am missing the dog. But outside of Rowdy, here it is... my new clique!

IF: Clutter

This week's Illustration Friday topic was clutter. As a new first-time mommy, I instantly thought of the mounds of endless laundry that seemed to have arrived with my new bundle of joy. I vaguely remember a day when I used to carefully pick through my wardrobe for a (matching) outfit that fit my mood, the occassion and my young, trendy style. I still carefully sort through my wardrobe, but the criteria is vastly different; Now, I am looking for what actually fits, still manages to be clean (or even mostly clean) and can stand up to my 8 month old baby! So, here's to all of those little people that bring love, laughter, and most everything gross into our lives...Cheers!
